SEED BALLS

  Vanam kalaimani popularized the practice of throwing seedballs in Tamil Nadu during the rainy season in places where seedbeds could not be watered and maintained daily.

  He coached more than ten thousand students across Tamil Nadu and thereby prepared more than one million seed balls.

  Thanjavur district administration has organized a world record event of 3,000 students preparing three lakhs seed balls in three hours.
