PALM SEEDS

  VANAM is working towards the target of sowing one lakh palm seeds in a specific season every year.

  Based on this, 92 thousand palm seeds have been own in Delta districts in 2018-2019 and 42 thousand palm seeds in 2019-2020.

 The project has been planed with the guidance and advice of Mr. M.Pradeepkumar, IAS., Additional Project Director, Gaja Relief Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project, with the assistance of college and school students in the coastal areas, river basins and bypass roads affected by the Gaja cyclone in the Nagapattinam district.
